Omaha Gets Value of Downtown Stadiums

Another example of a mid-size city (Omaha) that gets it. From College World Series is Moving On: "Next year the Series will move three miles north to the $128 million TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha."

Did you see the price of that thing? It's like $120million (can't remember the exact number). The Royals have said they won't play in it, to boot. So now they've invested in an Arena, Convention Center, AND uber pricey baseball stadium. They're also looking to construct a streetcar system. All in a metro that is smaller than ABQ. The excuses need to stop in our city, it's time to get shit done.
